Nancy Renee Cotterman, RN BSN

Executive Director


Nancy has been married to Jim for 38 years. Together they have two daughters, Kimberly and Laura, as well as one grandson Ian.  Nancy’s advocacy training began with the birth of Kimberly, who is blind.  From there, she turned her advocacy to women’s birth rights.  As a childbirth educator and labor assistant, she developed Informed Birth and Parenting.  The group was featured in several Main Line PA local newspapers and radio shows.   This led Nancy to go to nursing school in 1989.  She was enrolled in a MSN, NP program at the time of the car accident, March 4, 1996, that caused her CRPS.  Nancy now brings her experience as an advocate, nurse and CRPS warrior as the founder of CRPS Partners In Pain, Inc. Dr. Ashraf Hanna, MD

Dr. Ashraf Hanna, director of pain management at The Florida Spine Institute, completed a Pain Management Fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic in Ohio and served as President for the Florida Academy of Pain Medicine. He is Board Certified in both Anesthesiology & Pain Management. He completed his Anesthesiology residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, where he spent six months of advanced clinical training in pain management. committee member – developing the recommended Ketamine Protocol for CRPS

Kristen Lewis

Assistant Director


Kristen is a married mom of 3 kids. She has had RSD since she was 12 years old with no known cause. Kris is the volunteer Assist Director of CRPS Partners in Pain. She is  the creator and Administrator of RSD United support group on Facebook. Kris enjoys helping others with RSD. She enjoys spending time with her family along with being a dance mom. Diane Kordek



Diane is originally from the Philadelphia area.  She is the mother of five and grandmother of five.  Diane got CRPS as a result of an injury while working in the labor and delivery OR in 2008.  She is proud to be a founding mother of CRPS Partners In Pain, Inc. To contact Diane:

Tara Kochanek, RN BSN

Vice President


Tara is an RN currently studying to be a Nurse Practitioner.  She has been married to Ted since 1998 and has three lovely daughters, Marissa, Jordan and Ashley.  Although Tara does not have CRPS herself, she is a great advocate board member of CRPS Partners In Pain, Inc.

Marie McGowin, CRPS Warrior

Marie has been married to Joe for 23 years. Marie has 2 sons and 1 daughter and Joe has 2 sons. Marie was studying online to become a Life Coach when she took a fall at work and broke her foot. Marie has had CRPS from her foot injury for 6 years, had to retire early and get on disability. She retired after working 20 years from the Cobb County School System in Marietta, Ga. Marie has always had the desire to help others. Having CRPS and chronic pain she began helping in support groups for others with chronic pain. She saw a need and started a RSD/CRPS Support Group with an organization giving help to others with the same disease as she has. Because of Marie’s desires to help in a more productive way, she left the group and recently joined CRPS Partners In Pain, Inc. as Patient Advocate.
